You can’t, you won’t, and you don’t stop.

When politicians or pundits dismiss the OWS protests as aimless slackers without a coherent message, what they’re really saying is “Stop pointing out the obvious problems with banks, corporations and the government.”

But whether you take to the streets, post something online or keep spreading the word in general, what you’re really saying is “No, we will not stop.”

The success of the OWS protests should not be measured by the number of people gathering around the country, or whether specific demands are met. Instead it’s about how much we are changing the national conversation.

What bothers the establishment now is that it’s not stopping and that the effects are spreading instantly, far beyond the actual feet in the street.

But mostly, they’re concerned that it seems to be working.
